Zarah Butcher-McGunnigle is an 18-year old student from Auckland. Her work appears in Turbine 08. Some people have suggested she drop ‘McGunnigle’ from her name because of its association with the maligned Scottish poet McGonagall. Others have advised losing ‘Butcher’ because it sounds like she’s about to cleave someone. |
